About This Quiz

The Social Network is a brilliantly scripted film about the seemingly sketchy-to-successful story of how Facebook became a miltibillion dollar company. You think you know which characters said what line? Take this quiz and find out!

Who said this: "And I’ll bet what you hated the most is that they identified me as a co-founder of Facebook, which I am! You better lawyer up a*hole, cause I’m not coming back for 30 percent; I’m coming back for everything!"

In this scene, Eduardo Saverin just found out that his Facebook shares were watered down.

Who said this: "I can't wait to stand over your shoulder and watch you write us a cheque."

Divya said this during the deposition hearings where they sued Mark for stealing their idea for Facebook.

Who said this: "Did you know that there are more people with genius IQ’s living in China than there are people of any kind living in the United States?"

Mark Zuckerberg said this during a date.

Who said this: "The one that’s the easiest to get into would be the one where anybody has the best chance."

Erica was discussing entering exclusive student clubs in Harvard with Mark.

Who said this: "I invented Facebook."

Mark’s declaration is simple, yet profound, at this point in the hearings.

Who said this: "If I get in, I will be taking you to the events and the gatherings and you’ll be meeting a lot of people you wouldn’t normally get to meet."

Mark is unknowingly entering dangerous territory by mouthing off this way.

Who said this: "Dating you is like dating a stairmaster."

Erica finally admitted to Mark that it’s exhausting to be with him sometimes.

Who said this: “The reason we’re able to sit here and drink right now is cause you used to sleep with the door guy."

Mark has already crossed the line with Erica at this point of their date.

Who said this: “You are probably going to be a very successful computer person. But you’re gonna go through life thinking that girls don’t like you because you’re a nerd. And I want you to know from the bottom of my heart that that won’t be true. It’ll be because you’re an a*hole."

This is Erica’s way of breaking things off with Mark.

Who said this: “This guy hacked into the face book of seven houses. He set up a whole website in one night. He did it while he was drunk."

Tyler Winklevoss comes from moneyed heritage in this story.

Who said this: "You’re not an a*hole, Mark. You’re just trying so hard to be."

Smart lines like Delpy's are courtesy of the film’s brilliant scriptwriter, Aaron Sorkin.

Who said this: " I’m not a bad guy."

Mark was trying to defend himself in this conversation with Marylin, the junior lawyer out to help him.

Who said this: "This is our guy."

Divya is friends with the Winklevoss twins.

Who said this: "Mr. Zuckerberg, this is an Administrative Board hearing. You’re being accused of intentionally breaching security, violating copyrights, violating individual privacy by creating the website, www.facemash.com."

Mark was finally caught messing with the Harvard systems, hence this inquiry.

Who said this: "Mr. Zuckerberg, I’m in charge of security for all computers on the Harvard network and I can assure you of its sophistication."

Mr. Cox felt insulted that a student could hack into their online systems.

Who said this: "How do you do this thing where you manage to get all the girls to hate us and why do I let you?"

Eduardo was also Mark’s roommate.

Who said this: "Harvard.edu is the most prestigious e-mail address in the country."

Cameron is convinced that the Harvard brand is sellable on a personal level.

Who said this: "Bosnia? They don’t have roads but they have Facebook."

Marylin can’t seem to decide whether she’s sympathetic to Mark or not.

Who said this: "I don’t hate anybody. The Winklevi aren’t suing me for intellectual property theft. They’re suing me because for the first time in their lives things didn’t work out the way it was supposed to for them."

Mark always had a thing against moneyed students in Harvard, though he tries not to be obvious about it.

Who said this: "Every minute this site is up, HarvardConnection becomes less valuable. I want an injunction, I want damages, I want punitive relief and I want him dead."

Divya was the one who discovered that Mark put up Facebook, a copycat of their original plan.

Who said this: "I founded Napster."

Sean Parker was introducing himself to a Stanford student he just slept with.

Who said this: "This building is a hundred years older than the country it’s in. So do be careful."

The Harvard president’s secretary was addressing the Winklevoss twins with this line.

Who said this: "Anne? Punch me in the face."

Larry Summers was getting bored with the Winklevoss twins’ ramblings at this point.

Who said this: " Of course it’s a university issue. There’s a code of ethics and an honor code and he violated both."

Tyler was trying to make a case against Mark to the president of Harvard, making it out to be an issue of the ivy league school.

Who said this: "He invented Napster when he was nineteen. He can be late."

Mark and his team was about to meet up with Sean Parker during this scene.

Who said this: "Drop the ‘the.' Just Facebook. It’s cleaner."

It is said that this suggestion by Sean made a huge impact on Facebook as a whole.

Who said this: "I figured we were partners. I wanted to be a team player."

Eduardo was actually putting in the funds for Facebook to run during the early stages of its inception.

Who said this: "This time you’re gonna hand ’em a business card that says 'I’m CEO B*tch.”

Sean Parker was trying to impress upon Mark that it’s their generation who rules now.

Who said this: "You’re asking me to believe that the CFO of Facebook doesn’t know how to change his relationship status on Facebook?"

Christy was of Asian descent, something Eduardo fancied earlier on in girls.

Who said this: "Did you like being nobody? Did you like being a joke? Do you wanna go back to that?"

Mark indeed had a thing for being someone and getting noticed, sometimes at the expense of good things.

Who said this: "I was your only friend. You got one friend."

Eduardo really felt betrayed by Mark.

Who said this: "Hang on. I almost forgot, here’s your 19,000 dollars. I wouldn’t cash it though, I drew it on the account your froze."

Sean was addressing Eduardo who, at that point, had the rug pulled out from under him, in terms of Facebook ownership.

Who said this: "Sorry! My Prada’s at the cleaners along with my hoodie and my f*ck-you-flip-flops, you pretentious douchebag!

Eduardo was addressing Sean Parker with this quip.

Who said this: "Doesn’t matter. I asked the question; now everybody’s thinking about it. You’ve lost your jury in the first ten minutes."

Marylin was played by Rashida Jones.

Who said this: "The Internet's not written in pencil, Mark. It’s written in ink."

It’s clear that Erica was offended in many ways by Mark.
