About This Quiz

The term "mythology" is a broad one. There is Greek mythology, Norse mythology, Roman mythology and more. The word itself refers to a collection of stories, or myths, that belong to a particular religion or culture. No two legends are alike, although there is some overlap with creatures and gods. Some gods, while the same from culture to culture, may represent something entirely different to its followers.

Mythical creatures, also called legendary beings, are usually a combination of humans and other beings like unicorns or eagles. Their existence cannot be proved in science, but they exist through storytelling. They are also commonly referred to as monsters because of their appearance and powers they possess. Some beings are considered heroes, though, maybe because of the gods, they've associated themselves with, or perhaps because of the things they can do.

These beings help tell the tales of the mythology and carry parts of the story that can't be explained. While most of them have origins based around a god or goddess, some of them have origin stories of their own. Do you want to know which mythical being is the guardian of your destiny? Take this quiz to find out!
