About This Quiz

Greek mythology is the one you probably hear about the most, but things in Greek mythology can be read about in many other mythologies as well, such as Norse mythology. The earliest literary works mentioning Greek mythology were Homer's the Iliad and the Odyssey, but is evident in many other literary and archeological works.

The gods that are laid out in Greek mythology are heroic, evil, masterminds, jovial and so much more. Some gods possess a little bit of all those traits, some just a few, but the gods are written as complex beings that have great power over people and other entities. All of the gods were born out of "nothingness" and were brought on one by one to deal with certain things, as the things they represented, like Earth, came into existence.

In history, the gods are portrayed as mythical beasts that can take on entire oceans. In modern times, these gods are romanticized in films like "The Avengers," and all of its affiliate movies, like "Thor."
