Fashion has been around since the beginning of time. The Renaissance was a period of tight corsets and full skirts. The Baroque period was filled with intricate designs and embroidery. While these styles ruled the earlier centuries, the 1900s would bring about tons of different styles and trends.
In the past, fashion seemed to change by the century, but come the 20th century, it seemed to change by the decade. The 1920s was popular for the flapper look. This came with feathers, boas, sheath dresses, and tons of fringe! While these women always looked ready to have a good time, this was the opposite of the 1950s. This decade brought about modest A-line midi skirts to flaunt a small waist and an hourglass figure. As fashion would evolve, the '60s brought the rise of leather and denim. The "cool" look of the '60s would change to the "hippy" vibe of the '70s. With the '80s came the return of distressed denim and a desire to do whatever you wanted with fashion!
