The history of fashion began the moment that man put on their first garment, and while it may not be very well documented, we have some idea as to how it started.
Fashion was a big thing in the Renaissance era, where women wore gowns consisting of cinched waists and full-length skirts. We later went through the "Roaring Twenties" (1920s), which featured short bobbed hairstyles, bold red lips, and flapper dresses. Fast forward to the 1960s, we went through the "mod decade" that was filled with nothing but mini dresses, go-go boots and bold prints and patterns.
Now in the modern era (2010 to present), much of our style is based on some of the most popular trends from previous decades. We saw the return acid-washed jeans, big hair like afros and bouffants, harem pants and bold colored lipsticks.
Which of the many beauty decades do you belong to? Have you been dressing up from a different era without even knowing it? Well, this quiz will let you know which one you belong to. Take it to find out, then when you're done, ask your friends to take it to see what they'll end up with.
