Body piercings is a practice whereby the body is punctured or cut to create an opening where a piece of jewelry or accessory can be worn. This type of body modification or body adornment can be traced back to the 6th and 7th century in Germany. With its increasing popularity, some cultures view piercings as taboo, and some people even require permission to get them.
Today, body piercing is still done and seen as a form of self-expression and modification, but people have taken it to a much higher level, often piercing multiple areas. Some people push it even further and have over 400 of them. They are also seen as a form of rebellion, specifically against one's parents or society itself, and that is one of the reasons why people get them.
What type of rebellious piercing is best for you? Will you be asking to get your ears, eyebrows, or tongue pierced, or will it be some other private area? Will you be able to handle the pain and will you be showing off your new piercing to everyone that you meet? The only way to find out is to take this quiz!
