As a people, we devote a whole lot of time to trying to figure out who we are and what we're doing with ourselves. Even as children, we're asked what we want to be when we grow up. We take classes in school towards the end of training ourselves for some job we assume we're going to want one day for the rest of our life. Fact is almost none of us know what we want to do from such a young age and we'll try out all kinds of jobs before we find something that works. And even then, a lot of people will never find a dream job for themselves. Now imagine trying to figure out how that's going to work in the afterlife.
Presumably in the great beyond you won't have credit card debt or a budget for feeding your family, but what you will have is time. All the time in the world and then infinity waiting right around the corner. What the heck do you plan on doing for forever and a day?
