Eyes are the windows to the souls, but they are also one of the most beautiful things about us. Often likened to a fingerprint, a person's eye color is unique to them and while it may appear the same, subtle variations in color hues and shape make them all different and distinctive. 

More than 50% of the world population has brown eyes, most of which are seen in people of African and Asian descent. Blue eyes, which are a genetically recessive trait make up less than 8%, while hazel eyes, which have a greenish yellow tint, include 5% and green, one of the rarest, is said to make up only 2%. 

Eye colors are also said to common traits; for example, people with brown eyes are said to be confident, while those with blue are said to be outgoing. People with green eyes have an alluring quality to them, and people who have grey eyes are very complex and often misunderstood.
