This species of large-bodied snake makes an excellent house pet. It varies in coloration ranging from brown, grey or cream and usually has a reddish or brown pattern towards the tail end. The boa constrictor feeds on small to medium-sized mammals, including birds. The boa strikes its prey by gripping it with its teeth, squeezing (constricting) the prey until it is dead, then consuming it whole.

These are land-dwelling reptiles with a hard-top shell that protects them from predators. These pets can vary in size ranging from a few centimeters to 2-3 meters. Tortoises are reclusive animals and have one of the longest life expectancies for land animals. They are herbivores that survive on a diet of grass, flowers, greens and fruits. Some tortoises consume worms and insects but too much protein can lead to shell deformities and other medical troubles.

These pets are very territorial and often display aggression during normal social interactions. Features of the Bearded Dragon include a triangular head, a flattened body, scales, and the ability to change colors.

In reality, goats will consume anything from cardboard to tin cans. They possess a curious personality and have the ability to climb and keep their balance in unorthodox places, like atop trees and fences.

These frogs are non-poisonous and depend on their camouflaging abilities to ward off predators. Red-eyed tree frogs feed on a diet of mainly crickets, moths, flies and other small insects.
