When the first automobile was built back in 1885 by Karl Benz in Mannheim, Germany, he never imagined that almost a century and a half later, that there would be over 100 car companies, two of which just happen to be Chevrolet and Kia with each of them selling at least 3 million vehicles every year.

While Kia vehicles are known for their reliability and affordability, Chevy is known for putting out some of the most durable vehicles and high performance sports cars. Every year, these two companies always manage to land at least one of their vehicles in the top 10 cars of the year, and buyers could immediately see the reasons why.

The Kia Sedona is a minivan which was previously marketed as the Kia Carnival, up until its 3rd generation. The latest model, which was released in 2015, was marketed as a multi-purpose vehicle, instead of the previous minivan.

The Chevrolet Bolt is a five-door electric subcompact hatchback which began its model year in 2017. Later that year, it was named as the 2017 North American Car of the Year, the 2017 Motor Trend Car of The Year, as well as being listed as one of Time’s Magazine’s Best 25 Inventions of 2016.

The Chevrolet Camaro, which is classified as a pony car, went on sale in 1966. The production ended in 2002, but was later revived and is now being produced as a sixth-generation car. Sales of this vehicle increased in 2007 when it appeared as Bumblebee in the first of the Transformers movies.

When the Kia Picanto was first revealed in 2003, it was simply as a five-door hatchback. After a few facelifts and two generations later, the later model is made using a lighter sheet of metal and buyers have a choice of one of three engines.

The Chevrolet Spark is a five-door hatchback which was first launched in 1998 by General Motors Korea. The fourth generation, which was released in 2015, is available in three models, all of which are available in North America.

The Kia Oprius is an executive vehicle which was manufactured by Kia Motors from 2003 to 2010, and at the time was the company’s largest entry in the executive car market.

The Kia Soul EV (electric vehicle) is an electric subcompact crossover SUV which was produced by Kia Motors in 2014. The model which is set to be released in 2018, will have an upgraded battery and decreased rolling resistance.

The Kia Forte is a compact car which has been in production by Kia Motors since 2008. The Forte replaced the company’s Kia Cerato and is being sold in many variations, some of which includes a two-door coup, a four-door sedan and a five-door hatchback.

The Aveo is a subcompact car which was manufactured in 2002 and was marketed under many different brands including Chevrolet. The second generation was released in 2012 but marketed as a different name, the Chevrolet Sonic.

The Chevrolet Cruze is a four-door small car which has been produced and sold by General Motors since 2008. The second generation of the vehicle was ranked #7 in Compact Car by U.S. News & World Report.

The Kia Cadenza is a full-size executive sedan which was produced in 2009, and was meant to replace the Kia Amanti. The second generation of the car was released in the latter half of 2016 and received a “Top Safety Pick” rating.

The Chevrolet Malibu is a midsize car which was manufactured from 1964 to 1983 and from 1997 to present day. Now in its 9th generation, the car is larger than the previous models and is also much sleeker and more fuel-efficient.

The Kia Sportage is a compact SUV which has been manufactured by Kia Motors since 1993. Unveiled in September 2015, the fourth generation of the vehicle received a “Top Safety Pick” rating and won the Red Dot Award for Car Design.

The Chevrolet Impala is a full-sized car which was sold from 1958-1985, then from 1994-1996 and again from the year 2000 onward. It was the company’s most expensive and best-selling passenger vehicle through 1965.

The Kia Optima is a midsized four-door (and five-door as of 2015) sedan that has been manufactured and marketed by Kia Motors for almost 20 years. Now in its fourth generation, many of them have received “Top Safety Pick” ratings.

The Chevrolet Corvette Stingray was the name of the second generation of Corvettes which were introduced back in 1963 and manufactured until 1967. It featured a futuristic-looking fastback with divided rear windows.

The Kia Soul is five-door, front-wheel drive subcompact crossover which has been marketed and manufactured by Kia Motors since 2009. In 2014, the company began to market the Kia Soul EV, which is an electric version of the vehicle.

The Chevrolet Volt is a plug-in hybrid which is a variant of another brand’s vehicle that General Motors began to produce and market in 2010. The Volt is a battery-operated vehicle with regenerative braking.

The Kia Sorento is a 5-door mid-sized crossover SUV which has been in production by Kia Motors since 2002. The third generation, which was released in 2015, is 95mm longer and is available as a 5- or 7-seater vehicle.

The Kia Niro is a hybrid subcompact crossover SUV which has been produced by Kia Motors since the 2017 model year. The company also announced that an electric version will be available for purchase in 2018. The vehicle received a Guinness World Record title for having the lowest fuel consumption by any hybrid vehicle.

The Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport is a sports car which is a hybrid of the Z06 and the Z51 Stingray. The car comes with a LT1 V8 engine and was originally designed for racing. A collector’s edition was released in 2017, and only 1000 of them were produced.

The Kia Rondo is a compact multi-purpose vehicle which was previously manufactured under the name Kia Carens in 1999. The second generation of the Carens was launched in 2006, and under the new name is offered in a 5- to 7-seat configuration.

The Chevrolet Eqinox is a series of vehicles made by General Motors. From 2004-2017, it was a mid-sized crossover SUV and from 2018 onward, a compact crossover SUV which is said to be very similar to the Buick Envision.

The Chevrolet Trax is a subcompact crossover SUV which has been produced by General Motors since 2013. In 2017, the vehicle received a facelift that includes a new grille design and halogen projector headlamps.

The Kia K9 is a full-size luxury car which was first made by Kia Motors in South Korea. It was marketed to replace the Kia Opirus and became available in 2013. The K9 was also the first rear-wheel drive sedan put out by the company in the United States.

The Kia Rio is a subcompact car which has been manufactured by Kia Motors since August 2000. Now on its fourth generation, the car comes in 3- and 5-door hatchbacks and also in a 4-door sedan.

The Chevrolet Tahoe is a full-size SUV which has been sold by General Motors first as the Yukon from 1991 and then as the Tahoe from 1995. Named after Lake Tahoe, the 4-door model has a longer wheelbase and can carry up to nine passengers.

The Kia Stinger is a mid-sized liftback which was manufactured by Kia Motors beginning in 2018. Before it was even available, the 5-door vehicle seemed to be very popular as it has been featured in GQ magazine and in an episode of The Grand Tour.

The Chevrolet Silverado, which is said to be related to the GMC Sierra, is a full-sized heavy-duty pickup truck that was first introduced in the late 1990s to replace the Chevrolet C/K line which was made from 1975 to 1998.

The Kia Hybrid was first unveiled in 2010 and later launched in 2011 and was ranked second in sales for that calendar year. In that same year, it set the Guinness World Record for having “Lowest Fuel Consumption in a Hybrid Gasoline Vehicle”.

The Chevrolet Suburban is a full-size sport utility vehicle which has extended length and it holds the record for holding the longest continuous name plate which started in 1935. This type of vehicle has been produced by other brands and is also related to the Chevrolet Silverado.

The Chevrolet Colorado is a mid-sized pickup truck which was introduced in 2004 by General Motors to replace the Chevrolet S-10 and the GMC Sonoma. Named after the state of Colorado, the vehicle is available in both 2- and 4-door options.

The Kia Spectra is a compact car which was produced between 2000 and 2009, and was later replaced by the Kia Sephia. When it was first introduced by Kia Motors, the car replaced a model called the Kia Forte.

The Kia Carens is a compact multi-purpose vehicle which was launched 1999. As of late, the vehicle has been known under another nameplate, the Kia Rondo. Now on its 3rd generation, the vehicle has had a facelift and looks very different from the original Carens.

The Chevrolet Traverse was marketed as a full-sized crossover SUV and in its second generation, as a midsized crossover SUV. The vehicle has been seen on many television shows including Hawaii Five-0, The Mentalist and My Own Worst Enemy.

The Kia Borrego is a SUV manufactured by Kia Motors, and is also known as the Kia Mohave. First produced in 2008, the 5-door SUV was the largest SUV in the company’s lineup and has won several awards since its release.

The Kia Amanti, whose previous nameplate was Oprius, was produced by Kia motors from 2003 to 2010 and in 2005, the Amanti was recognized by J.D. Power and Associates for being the “Most Appealing Premium Midsize Car."

The Kia Venga is a mini multi-purpose vehicle which has only been sold on the European market from 2009 to the present day. In 2015, the newer model was released with a different bumper, a larger front grille and a six-speed automatic transmission.

The Chevrolet SS is an executive car which was first produced as the Holden Commodore in 2013. It was produced from 2013 to 2017 as a rebadged and improved version of the Commodore SS-V.

The Kia Forte is a compact car which was produced in mid-2008 and was known as the K3 in South Korea, Singapore and Colombia. The Kia Forte K3 is available in a 2-door coupe, 4-door sedan and a 5-door hatchback.

The Chevrolet Caprice is a full-sized car which was produced by Chevrolet from 1965 to 1996 and was one of the most popular vehicles of the 1960s and the 1970s. The nameplate made a return in 2006 with a line of the SS, Royale, LS and LTZ.

The Chevrolet Express is a full-sized van which is identical to the GMC Savana. The vehicle was first produced in 1999 and has continued to be sold by the company since. The Express now comes in three varieties; the cargo, the passenger and the concept.

Named after the city of Orlando, the Chevrolet Orlando is a compact multi-purpose vehicle which has been sold worldwide by Chevrolet since 2011 and is available in both automatic and manual transmissions.

The Kia Shuma, sometimes known under the names Kia Spectra and Kia Sephia, is a compact car that was manufactured from 1992 to 2003.

The Kia Niro is a hybrid plug-in subcompact car which was available in the United States in 2017. The car also went on sale a year before in South Korea and sold record numbers of car in its first month, even surpassing the Hyundai Ioniq.

The Chevrolet Sail is a “supermini” car which is produced by the General Motors company in Shanghai. The vehicle was launched in 2001 both as a sedan and a wagon but was sold as the Buick Sail, and was changed to Chevrolet in 2005.

The Chevrolet Captiva is an SUV which has been sold by the Chevrolet company since 2006 but was developed by Daewoo. The second series saw redesigned wheels, LED turn signals and a new front fascia, which is very similar to the Chevrolet Aveo.

The Kia Mohave is an SUV which was manufactured and sold by Kia Motors in South Korea. First marketed in 2008, the vehicle can be found in the United States under the name Kia Borrego.

The Chevrolet Trailblazer is a mid-sized SUV which has been produced since 2002 by General Motors. By the end of 2008, the Trailblazers were replaced by the Chevrolet Traverse and just a few years after, many of the 2006 and 2007 models were recalled in order to fix door lock and power window short circuits.

The Kia Sephia was manufactured and marketed by Kia Motors around the world from 1992 to 2003. The model was later succeeded by the Kia Cerato but was later discontinued in 2005 because the name Spectra was preferred.
