About This Quiz

FILL IT UP SUPER, PLEASE! If you own a vehicle or know someone who owns a vehicle, you've probably frequented gas stations. You've passed by Shell, Exxon, BP and more. Even though you see these stations every day, could you remember their logos? Could you identify the brand from half of it?

Cars have been around since the late 1800s. German inventor Karl Benz is credited with the first true car which had an interior engine. While these vehicles always needed gas to run, it wasn't until 1913 that the first drive-in gas station was built. It was a Gulf Oil gas station in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Currently, the only way to put gas in your car is to go to these filling stations and do it yourself. If you're in the lucky state of New Jersey, a gas attendant will do it for you! When you choose to fill up, you probably have your favorite brand.

Do you prefer to go to Wawa where you can also catch a quick bite? Maybe you prefer Sunoco to Sam's Club. Are you stopping at Mobil or Lukoil? While you might recognize the logos as you pull up to the station, could you recognize them in this quiz? To make it a bit more challenging, could you identify the brand with half its logo?

There's one way to find out! Let's see if you've got enough gas to pass this quiz!
