About This Quiz

When the weather gets warm, and the grass pokes through the snow or mud, our thoughts turn to one thing ... baseball! Maybe yours do, too, and if they do, you might also have fantasized about playing in the big leagues. But what position would suit you best?

For some of us, the less athletically gifted, thinking about this is strictly a theoretical exercise. For others, it's not. If you've played baseball (or softball) recreationally or for school, you were probably assigned a position that suited your physical gifts, like your height, build, foot speed and the quality of your throwing arm.

For this quiz, we're not going to worry about that. Rather, we're going to get under the hood psychologically and try to determine what role in baseball you're fundamentally suited for. In other words, if all of life were a great big diamond, what position would you play? So this quiz is for everyone, whether a true athlete or a klutz with two left feet.

Where do you fall on this personality spectrum? An ultra-flexible, quick-witted shortstop or a solid, implacable catcher? A baseman, the insider and team-player type, or more of a loner in the outfield? Or even the center-of-attention sharpshooter, the pitcher? There's one way to find out!

Other than baseball, which sport interests you most?
Gymnastics
Power-lifting
Cross-country running
There's no sport other than baseball.
