In the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, Purity of Blood or Blood Status is a concept which indicates the level of magical people or people who are able to perform magic in one's family. Much like race, there are people who have been subject to prejudice and ridicule based on their blood status, which can be the pure-blooded, the half-blooded and the muggle-born.
Pure-blood wizards and witches are people who have no known muggles in their family, and many view these families as the elite members of society. The half-blooded witches and wizards are people who have both muggle and pure-blooded relatives. Muggle-born witches and wizards are people born to parents who are both muggles (people who do not have magical abilities), and as such are seen at the bottom of the totem pole. There is also a fourth group of people who are known as squibs - they are non-magical persons who have been born to at least one magical parent.
Which of the three groups do you belong to? Are you pure-blooded like Draco Malfoy, half-blooded like Harry Potter, or are you muggle-born like Hermione Granger? There's only one way to find out, and that's by doing this quiz!
