About This Quiz

"I solemnly swear that I am up to no good."

Moony, Wormtail, Padfoot and Prongs were just four of more than 100 characters created in the Harry Potter universe. With a flash of red hair or a shot of bespectacled eyes, are you magical enough to pick out these Harry Potter characters from just one image?

In 1997, J.K. Rowling introduced us to her wizarding world of Harry Potter. There were feasts, cauldrons and Quidditch. While all of these added to the appeal of the story, where would it be without the witches and wizards? What about the paintings, familiars, and even the Sorting Hat?

"Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone" opened you up to Harry and the Dursleys. You got a chance to witness gentle half-giants on motorcycles and short goblins with glasses. You watched Harry befriend a freckled redhead and turn down a friendship with an arrogant blond. And this was just in the first movie!

With a complete archive of eight films, the Harry Potter series has shown us glimpses of the most popular characters from Hermione to Dumbledore and Lupin, to even the most obscure like Barty Crouch Jr. and Bathilda Bagshot. There are tons of wizards, witches, paintings, ghosts and pets running through your head. Can you remember all of them?

Let's hope you weren't caught on the end of Gilderoy Lockhart's "Obliviate"! Can you manage the mischief in this quiz? We'll see!

Lee Jordan
Igor Karkaroff
Neville Longbottom
One of best fan theories is that Neville Longbottom was the real chosen one and Lord Voldemort just made a mistake when he chose Harry. A lot of people think that perhaps the entire book series has been following the “wrong” person and here's why: Remember that moment in the end when Harry tried to kill Voldemort and failed? And just when all hope seemed lost, Neville rose from the dust and performed the heroic act. There is even a fan fiction that explores what the world of Harry Potter would've looked like if Voldemort had chosen to mark Neville as his opponent instead. This long, exciting story makes huge changes to each book.
