Bootleggers modified their vehicles to outperform those of the authorities, ensuring that they could get their illegal liquor across the country without being caught. And for that, they needed to outrun the police. Hence speed was important! Â
Each year, new models are released, be it a hypercar, supercar, muscle car or a family sedan.
