About This Quiz

Torque...

Along with horsepower figures, these are numbers that car nuts pore over when trying to decide which vehicle is better than the other without having to race them on some tarmac. Although we prefer the smell of burning rubber, torque figures are important.

But what is torque, exactly?

Simply put, torque is how much force can be applied through the engine in a given gear. You will notice, the best torque rating always has a certain engine RPM that it applies to. Of course, having a car with higher torque is useless if this cannot be applied properly through the tires.

So what do you have to do in this quiz? Well, in this side by side comparison, it's up to you to figure out which car out of the two we have shown you has the most torque.

While some are pretty easy, others are going to take all your auto knowledge to figure out. There are some really difficult ones in among our 40 questions, but with your thinking cap on, you stand a really good chance of coming out with flying colors.

But can you be one of a handful of people to totally ace this test?

Good luck!
