About This Quiz

Piercings have been around for a very long time. In fact, remnants of body jewelry have been found in corpses of ancient times. But the deterioration of those bodies has made it very difficult to figure out where these piercings where and why they were done to begin with. With all that in play, humans have still found ways of finding actual evidence that people of ancient time really did pierce their bodies. Take for example Otzi the Iceman. When he was found in a glacier in Italy, the mummy was wearing an ear piercing that was between seven and 11 millimeters.

Today, piercings are seen as a form of art and self-expression and can be done just about anywhere. Oh, you know that some people pierce their privates (for reasons unbeknownst to us). But we won't show you those. We're going to show you pictures of some of the most classic and not-so-well-known spots on the body that people pierce. It'll be up to you to figure out what kind of piercing it is and to correctly name said piercing. Do you think you've got what it takes to ace this quiz? Will you be able to open your very own piercing shop by the end, or will you need to take some extra courses in biology? Let's find out!
