The sun and the moon are the yin and yang of the heavens. The sun is a giant ball of gas that burns with eternal fire, constantly exploding and being reborn in an endless nuclear fusion reaction that gives off incredible quantities of heat and light. It is the source of the energy that powers all life on earth, bathing us all in its radiance and every so often shining a little too brightly as it scorches us with its intensity. It is not afraid to demand our attention, but it is too bright to look directly at it. The sun is constant, loud, beautiful, and powerful.
The moon, in contrast, is quiet and introspective. It is changeable, shifting from night to night, cycling through its moods in a predictable yet always-shifting manner. It reflects back the strengths and weaknesses of others, and it is mysterious, hiding one face from the world while rarely letting us see the fullness of the other. The moon is deceptive, seductive, and capable of tricking the eye and the mind. However, it has its own power, guiding those who pay attention to its patterns and ensuring the constancy of the tides.
Which of these sounds more like the goddess that dwells inside you? Let's find out!
